We have spent a lot of time making sure that the process of renting a car is as simple as possible making sure you get on the road as soon as possible.

Here is a step by step guide to renting from Advantage that will make your next trip a breeze.

Booking Your Rental Online

Step 1: Choose A Location

No matter where you are in the Greater Toronto Area we have a Rental Depot near you. Simply go to our Locations Page to find a handy map and a list of our 11 locations.

Clicking locations details will bring you to a page with all of the contact information for that location.

Step 2: Choose A Vehicle

This step may actually be the hardest step when it comes from renting from Advantage, Choosing your vehicle. There are a lot of different aspects to considering when choosing which car you wish to rent.How many people will need to fit in the car at once? How far are you going? What kind of luggage will you be packing? It all matters when choosing a rental vehicle.

Heading to the Fleet page will give you a complete list of every car we have in the fleet.  Everything from large 16 foot moving trucks to pickup trucks to minivans to luxury cars.

Clicking on whichever rental you are interested in will bring you to a description page to let you more about the car you wish to rent.

Step 3: Entering Your Booking Information

On every page of the Advantage Car and Truck Rentals website, you will find a Rental Box so as soon as you see the car that is right for you can put in your basic information like which location you will be renting from and the days you want to pick it up and drop it off.

After filling in that information you will be taken to the second booking page which will show you a list of cars and how much they will cost, so simply choose the car you want, and if you will have any additional drivers or and drivers under 25 and that’s it! Your car is booked, you don’t pay until you are at the Advantage Rental Depot or your car is delivered.

Once you get to the Confirmation Screen you will receive a text with your confirmation number so when you go to pick up your car all your information will be ready.

Booking Over The Phone

Booking anything over the phone can be a hassle, long wait times, inputting your credit card number on the dial pad and maybe not even talk to a real person at all. Nobody wants to talk to a machine when trying to rent a car that’s why at Advantage Car and Truck Rental you’re automatically connected to a real person at the location you are renting from.

1 888 433 2222 number at the top of the page. If you’re on your mobile device, you can just click the phone number and your phone will automatically dial for you.

Walk In Bookings

We always welcome walk in reservations at Advantage, sometimes it is the only option if you need a car or truck right away. Walk in bookings are fairly easy, a representative will take down your information and then take you to your rental to do a spot check of the car to check for damages and then you are on your way!

Simply walking in without a reservation may limit the availability of the vehicle your looking to rent so if it is time permitting it is recommended to book online or by phone at least a few ours before hand.
