For example don’t rent a Mazda 3 just because they look good and are easy to park when you have to take the whole family away for the weekend, in which case a pickup truck or a caravan would be better suited for your needs.
Call Ahead
Calling ahead to book your car is a great way to ensure you will have the car you want ready to go as soon as you need it. Not only is this beneficial for the agents making sure your car is ready but it also means less wait time for the renter.
Double Check You Understand The Terms Of Agreement
There are a lot of moving parts to renting a car, pick up and drop off time, pick up and drop off location, late fees, gas fees. It is a lot to go over but be very sure you and the rental agent are in agreement to the terms of the rental so that their is no surprises when it comes time to drop off the car.
Do The Walk Around Inspection With The Agent
This is a very important step in the rental process, you don’t want to be charged for damage you did not inflict. Everyone makes mistakes and two sets of eyes are better than one, so help the agent look over the car to look for any previous damage.
